eehm, i think it should stay with CTF, no other gametypes, thats because with gametypes like S&D en HQ the less skilled players have to wait more then that they play...
and in CTF you can relax and sit back too, (just be a camping defender Very Happy

)
i dont think TDM is that good because its a less tactic gameplay.

what i didnt like about the last league was the map system,
in the first league every team choosed their own home map. in your home games you played that map.
i think thats a better system, because if you randomly chooses maps, it can have a lot of influence.
es an example. if the nr1 playes the nr2 in map that they really cant play. and nr 1 playes nr 3 in a map they like, nr 2 has a lot more chance to win. i think thats an unfair advantage, if they both play nr 1 in the same map, you can really see whos the better team. i hope i made this clear lol... (hard for me to explain lol)

and im curious if you want to continue with the same mod?, its a very basic mod, i think there are better mods avaible (like the Extreme Modern Weapons mod, (ECF uses it)) that is an very know mod, it has a lot more sort of weapons, if you put an kar in it, it could maybe be a better mod) maybe you can put a poll for it or something?

about the player guids registering... that sounds good,
but i have one question,
as most of you know, i play in both pm and dps, pm is ofcourse in the leaue, but imagine, dps wants to join te league too, that wont be possible then, because my guid is already at the pm squad, or is that allowed....????????

Hi PsychoJr, regardig the guide i think that you have to choos who you are going to play for and not bouth clans. But that is up to the isdp to decide. I am agree with you regarding the map rotation. I dont say that isdp did choose a good map when they meet difficult teams, but if you do like you say its fear for all clans...

i agree m8 its fairer that way.
i dont expect isdp to run into "difficult" teams tho this next league since WHERE BLOODY UNBEATABLE Razz

I would like to see the league stick to ctf each year it seems to get better (well done ukw).
But like a few has said if im forced to chose another gametype to mix it up abit then it would be TDM

i dont know if this is the right place to do it,,
but now i know for sure you guys read it lol

i hope there is place for another team in the league
because a DPS/DECF aliance wants to join to

Hi Psycho, thanks for posting your thoughts m8.

It seems that popular opinion is to start the next league early October and stick with the ctf format but choose new maps ... all sounds good to me !!!

I dont know how many clans we will have in the next league yet, it depends on how many of the original 6 want to join us again and how many league servers Gaming UK Servers can afford us but if there is room for more then both DPS and DECF would be very welcome Cool

I will start updating and refreshing the League Website in the next couple of weeks and will be contacting all the clans around end of August / early September to get their input and ideas so that we are ready to go in October with no problems.

maybe if you have 7/8 teams and only 3 servers,
you can give one/two teams rest?

and i dont think it would be a problem to make the DPS server a league server on sunday if neccesairy (you can give the mod and cfg, then their wont be a problem Very Happy

I'm Puschnik from pm/Partyminded, this is my first post.

My suggestion for season 3: A new MOD, such as the popular Extreme Modern Weapons MOD, or similar.
Or a MOD that is unknown to all teams, that would mean equality of opportunities for all teams.

Hi all, regarding mod its the same for BIA-clan. We are playing on alot of servers with different mod. But i understand if isdp want to use their own mod. It's their league, they pay and arr it. But way not go back to the original cod_uo mod, if it have red dot etc then its modern weapon LOL

after talking with pm, dps/decf is not gonna enter to make sure pm has enough players,
so the 4 admins of dps (as you know: patton, roborob, mouzermeat and me) are also members of pm,
we all play for pm, so that leaves not an admin for dps/decf team, so that team cant join the league any more,
sorry,

Goodluck with the league and shoot ya there (ukw especially you, you have a huge ass, so its easy to kick your ass xD) (that is also why you cant hit roadrunner looooooool)

Its also kind of ironic that the size of your head makes it so easy for us to get headshots on you fella Wink

Joking aside, thanks to everyone that has taken the time to post up their thoughts about how we can improve the league, there has been some very interesting ideas raised.

At this stage it seems about right that we start the new league in early october so that clans are able to field a full team after the holiday season is pretty much over and we all want something to do on an autumn / winters night.

We still have not decided how best to run the next league but ctf certainly seems to be favourite and with new maps and even clans choice of home maps seeming to be popular.

In the near future ISDP admin will sit down and discuss what route and format the new league will take but in the meantime please keep making suggestions so we know how to please most of you guys best. I'm sure we wont be able to please everyone, but we will do our best to make the next league better and more fun than the previous two.

Finally, thank you to all the clans who take part in our leagues, without you guys we would'nt have a league to play.

Lets keep Cod UO alive and kick some ass Cool
